For many students the study method sounds like something mysterious, like a mirage that once discovered helps solve everything.
How many times have we heard of the method of study? When in our school career we find it hard to study and our results are not excellent, it is very likely to tell us the type “phrases you miss the study method.” I assure you that this happens even after graduation, as I see when I help students prepare the state examination in psychology.
For many students the study method sounds like something mysterious, like a mirage that once discovered helps solve all educational problems as a sort of panacea. It is not wrong to think so! But what is really meant by the method of study? And above all, there is only one valid for everyone, or everyone has a custom?
With method of study means that set of techniques and measures to be put into practice in all the moments of our study, what we do in class up to how we handle the home study. No doubt, the issues common to methods of effective study program the study in advance, to use the material ordered and quality, really focus and not go overboard with the rhythms, relaxing when needed.

The differences between different methods of study emerge when we go down more specifically to investigate the various techniques of collection, selection, storage and understanding of the concepts that will be asked there the examination. Everyone is better off with different combinations of these techniques. The top is if we can be flexible, that is, when we adopt different combinations depending on the type of examination that we must give.
Also during our schooling, it is highly likely that our study methods have evolved over time, from simpler to more complex, or more mature. Everybody finds the most suitable method of study according to different timescales: there are those who find it since elementary, who mature later, those arriving at the university without having yet found. But it’s never too late, we are always time to learn!
